Each time we have a snack a small meal or a big meal, digestion is required and then to fulfill the digestion there is call for blood all of it in the stomach, which then starts the digestive processes. If it is a meal then 3 and 3 and half hours gap after which one can stroll around slowly with relax breathing that could further support and assist digestion. Should there be walking immediately after a big meal, it could prove detrimental towards the health. Heavy meal and sleeping is also not advisable.
Post meal after hour and half, you can have a chamomile tea, with ginger, mint, nutmeg and slight jaggery. Couple of cups after hour and half and then if you go for gentle walk then it will add value.
Sit in vajrasana for a while. In vajrasana, shut your eyes and just focus on gently breathing out through your mouth and gentle breathing in through your nose.
Walking stimulates the stomach and intestines. It improves absorption of nutrients. Food may pass through the digestive system more quickly as a result. Additionally, it can lessen bloating, particularly for people with irritable bowel syndrome.
Brisk walking should be avoided.
